As I type upon the keyboard, black symbols appear upon a white background. The symbols have some meaning to people and none to others. The symbols can have multiple meanings depending on who looks at the symbols. Some people may see messages of love, some of hate; some may say the symbols are from a God, some may say the symbols are from evil.
We give the symbols meaning, without the meaning we give to them they are just symbols. Black marks upon a background of white, or black, or whatever color. The symbols can be different colors, we give the symbols the colors, we give the background the colors, and we give the symbols our own emotions.
The symbols are emotionless, unfeeling without the meaning that we give them.
